Fair : Specially laid out for natural stone and its technologies for extraction and transformation.
Will take place in: China, Xiamen, International Conference and Exhibition Centre.
Data on the 2010 edition:
- 95.000 m² occupied by 3.600 stands
- 1.300 local and international exhibitors from 35 countries
- 101.000 visitors of whom 20.100 foreigners representing 130 countries
- 5 offcial foreign collectives: Tuscany Region, Italy - Brasil - Spain - Turkey- Greece
Xiamen: The city named "The garden on the sea" with more or less 1.532.200 inhabitants rises on the coast of the Fujian province. The industrial area of the city called "Xiamen Stone Industry Zone", for the many firms in the stone sector that have developed in this area- 1.000 commercial firms and 6.000 saw-mills; in reality it´s one of the major sector transformation poles in all China: more than 60% of the Chinese import - export of natural stones passes through Xiamen and its dock.
Data on the next 2011 edition of the fair: a great deal of the exposition blocks of the INT´L Conference and Exhibition centre of Xiamen has already been optioned for the participation of the largest Chinese firms that transform natural stone and produce machinery. The sector associations of Brasil, Spain, Turkey, Iran are already developing the event between their associates and in Italy, the Tuscany Region is valuating the participation for the second time with a collectivity of firms.
